"Cherry Blossom" Pink Sock Yarn - Hand-dyed merino tonal
This pinkish-fingering weight yarn is a lovely tonal that has varied hues reminiscent of Japanese cherry blossoms. During Spring in Seattle, we often visit the University of Washington's quad to take in the sight of 29 Yoshino trees in full bloom. Glorious!
The extra-fine merino wool (19.5 microns) is especially cushy and feels great on sensitive skin. It's blended with a bit of nylon for extra durability -- perfect for long-wearing projects like gloves and socks.
Created by us in our home state of Washington using professional commercial dyes that won't fade or bleed, because we steam-set them and then wash and rinse each one thoroughly.
Patterns We Love:
- Fiber Flux has a free crochet pattern for the elegant Strawberry Cream peplum tank, plus she shows you all the steps in a video!
- Stitches N Scraps crochets the Cherry Blossom Beret, a perfectly lightweight hat with a pretty, lacey top.
- Lori Wagner has a pattern for a pair of fun knitted socks she calls Diagon Alley.
- Bitchcraft provides a knitting pattern for a seamless halter top using just one skein.
