Riccardia Chamedryfolia "Coral" Moss

$17.99   $17.99

1x2" portion

Riccardia "Chamedryfolia" (Coral Moss or Mini Pellia), is a fun and different type of moss. Much like other moss, it makes a great hiding and grazing place for young shrimp. It is nicknamed "Coral" Moss because of the structure the fronds grow, which is similar to the structure of some small polyp stony corals.

Care is super easy, Coral Moss does not require intense lighting or extra fertilization. Simply place in your shrimp tank and watch it grow! It does best in cycled aquariums with cool, clean water. Warning: This moss can and does fall apart fairly easily once it starts growing large, care should be taken with trimming regularly, or you could have this growing in other parts of your aquarium.
