Feltpen Fadeout
Feltpen Fadeout (FPFO) is specifically designed for the final removal of shadows and traces of inks, dyes, and other graffiti markers from all surfaces, both porous and non-porous. This powerful formula will also eliminate some spray can stains or "ghosts" (particularly reds) from delicate and porous surfaces and is engineered to work in conjunction with World’s Best Graffiti Removers. Additionally, it can be diluted with water to serve as a high-foaming cleaner that effectively removes organic stains, dirt, and fats, while sanitizing surfaces by killing microorganisms (germs, bacteria, fungi, etc.).
Features & Benefits:
- Unique UV-Sensitive Formulation: Draws inks and other stains out of surfaces for effective removal.
- Versatile Application: Can be used while Bare Brick Stone and Masonry Graffiti Remover or Sensitive Surface Graffiti Remover is still on the stain or after dissolving as much graffiti as possible (the choice of remover depends on the type of substrate).
- Excellent Stain Removal: Ideal for removing leather dyes and inks that have shown resistance to other removers, as well as stains that have been "burnt into" or wrapped into porous surfaces.
- Highly Active Cleaner When Diluted: Creates a powerful cleaner for removing smoke films, greasy marks, carbon deposits, food spills, mold, fungi, and other soilage.
Instructions for Use:
Removing Ink and Dye Stains:
- After removing as much of any graffiti marker as possible, pour a small quantity of Feltpen Fadeout (FPFO) into a small bucket.
- Apply as thickly as possible to the remaining shadows using a nylon brush. Once the shadows have disappeared, wipe clean with a damp towel.
- For all smooth or porous surfaces, including signage, plastics, stone, concrete, granite, or marble, first apply Sensitive Surface Remover (SSGR) for marking pens or Bare Brick, Stone, and Masonry Remover (BBSM) for spray can paints.
- The time required for complete removal will vary from instantly to several minutes, or even overnight in some cases. For inks or dyes splashed or thrown onto concrete, brick, or porous surfaces, it may be necessary to leave Feltpen Fadeout (FPFO) overnight. To do this, apply FPFO as thickly as possible and cover it with black plastic, securing the edges with tape. This will keep the product wetter for longer and prevent contact with the affected area.
- Occasionally, some markers or spray can paint shadows may not appear to have been affected by FPFO. However, wiping with a damp cloth for smooth surfaces or pressure cleaning for brick, stone, or masonry surfaces can yield surprising results. Don’t hesitate to reapply this product as needed.
Removing Spray Can Stains:
Feltpen Fadeout is particularly effective for removing certain spray can stains from porous masonry and concrete. After dissolving as much graffiti as possible with Bare Brick Stone and Masonry Graffiti Remover, an application of FPFO during or after the final rinse will eliminate any remaining pigment or stain on the surface.
Coverage and Application Guidelines:
Exact coverage varies depending on the type of stain and the number of applications needed.
Diluted Cleaning Applications:
Feltpen Fadeout (FPFO) can also be used as a high-foaming cleaning concentrate with bleaching action when diluted with water. Dilute as follows:
- Light soilage: 1:100
- Regular cleaning: 1:20-50
- Mold removal: 1:20
- Heavy soilage: 1:10
Instructions:
- Prepare the desired diluted solution of FPFO.
- Wash the surface with the solution.
